ACH/Fedline Hot Site

Magic-Wrighter has established an ACH Origination Hot Site computer in its Grand Rapids, Michigan facility. The Instant Hot Site System can receive transmissions directly from your business customer in the event your ACH Origination computer is out of service.

Magic-Wrighter has reached an agreement with the Federal Reserve to establish a Fedline terminal in its Grand Rapids facility, to be used as a Fedline Hot Site System.

With the Fedline terminal located at its facility, Magic-Wrighter can transmit your ACH Originating items to the Federal Reserve in the event that either your ACH Origination System or Fedline Computer is out of service.

Magic-Wrighter's Instant Fedline Hot Site System will provide your financial institution with the ability to process, transmit and perform other features contained within the Fedline System, giving you the most in depth ACH Origination and Fedline back-up site available.

The Instant Fedline Hot Site Service will provide your financial institution with the ability to receive incoming ACH transactions from the Federal Reserve in the event your Fedline terminal is out of service.

This service includes delivery of your ACH transactions from Magic-Wrighter to your financial institution's location or to your disaster recovery site if required.

Your financial institution can use the Instant Fedline Hot Site Service even if you have not purchased Magic-Wrighter’s ACH Origination System.

Backing up Your Magic-Wrighter ACH Origination System

When your financial institution selects the Instant Hot Site Service, Magic-Wrighter will install and activate its Hot Site Software on your computer. The Hot Site Software will automatically download all critical database files, containing your customer’s ACH information, to Magic-Wrighter’s ACH Origination Hot Site System between midnight and 6 a.m. each day.

Magic-Wrighter's Hot Site computer will have a copy of your ACH customer database, your institution's customized voice dialogue and Magic-Wrighter’s ACH Origination software loaded at all times.

In the event of disaster, you will activate call forwarding by entering the ACH Origination Hot Site telephone number. Your customer's will continue calling your financial institution's normal ACH Origination telephone number, the call will be automatically redirected to Magic-Wrighter’s Hot Site Center. Your customers will not be aware that an outage had occurred at your institution.

You must contact Magic-Wrighter in order to activate your ACH Origination Hot Site. Magic-Wrighter will need approximately one hour to activate your ACH Hot Site System.

Magic-Wrighter will run standard end of day procedures for your financial institution. Before your transactions are transmitted to the Federal Reserve Magic-Wrighter will fax all end of day reports to your financial institution, along with a checklist.

Each report must be reviewed and the checklist completed and signed by authorized personnel before transmission to the Federal Reserve can be completed.

The checklist must be returned to Magic-Wrighter and a copy faxed to the Federal Reserve, informing the Federal Reserve Magic-Wrighter has been authorized to stand in for your financial institution.

MVP ACH ORIGINATION & FED LINE HOT SITE - Certification

When the ACH Origination Hot Site Service is established for your financial institution, Magic-Wrighter will activate your ACH Hot Site Software for an on-line test.

The on-line test is performed once a year and is designed to simulate a real-time disaster at your financial institution. The test is included as part of your annual fee.

Magic-Wrighter will provide your financial institution with a written certification annually for review by your auditors and examiners. The letter of certification contains the date your ACH Origination Hot Site was tested by Magic-Wrighter.

Included in the annual test is a transmission of your incoming Fedline transactions (available if your financial institution receives daily transmission from the Federal Reserve) to your institution.
